Went 3-0 yesterday, need a few more days like that! Here are my bets so far:
Oakland (-143) - Schilling is 0-2 with a 4.94 era last 4 starts. Boston is 8-20 for the month of August and 2-11 last 13 games. Ortiz, Ramirez, and Wily Mo Pena are out again today. Oakland is 8-2 last 10 games and have won 8 straight at home. Also, Oakland is 23-6 last 29 games and Boston is 19-23 vs LHP.
Mets (-120) - Mets have won 11 of their last 12 games and are 22-8 last 30 games. Mets are 17-4 last 21 games vs the Rockies. Rockies are 2-8 last 10 games. Dave Williams is 1-0 with a 3.75 era in 2 starts for the Mets.
Florida (+128) - Sticking with the hot team as they have won 9 straight games and are 1.5 games out of the wildcard spot. Nolasco is 3-0 with a 2.14 era last 3 starts on the road. Cards are 13-20 last 33 games. Marquis is 3-3 with a 6.63 era lifetime vs the Marlins.
