  • Early play for Thursday in the Bases

I am jumping right back on my Whitesox. We have our best starter in Garland going, and I believe he can have his way with these Tiger hitters. His sinker has really been working for him lately, and he has been pitching with a ton of confidence. The team is really looking to get a split in the series to have some momentum heading into the weekend series against the Twins. Thome is most likely not gonna give it a go tomorrow, but that doesn't really concern me. He hasn't been swinging the bat well lately, and they are facing a lefty in Robertson, so I think he needs a break anyway. Konerko will probably DH and Gload will probably be at first. This is their 21st game in a row, so I am not gonna go heavy, but I still have them as a play. Good luck to everyone

    3* Chicago Whitesox +105

Now that was more like it. Garland pitched a gem, just like I thought. Congrats to everyone who followed.

                            5-7-3 is

3rd-LF-1B and I think it went off Crede's (3B) glove before Ozuna (LF) threw to 1B.

"Casey hit a liner to third baseman Joe Crede, then stopped running and pivoted toward home when it appeared the ball was caught before sprinting to avoid an embarrassing putout. Left fielder Pablo Ozuna charged and made a bouncing throw that just beat Casey."
