6' 3" weighs 175 #'s, throws Right handed.......
FastBall 89-92 mph, also throws Change up (78 mph), Curveball (79 mph with slight 2-8 movement), but does have a good split finger 2 seam FB at 87 with a good vertical drop in it......

65 % of the balls hit against him are ground balls...
2005 (A) Ball gave up 109 hits in 109 innings (BA 336)
2006 (AA) gave up 50 hits in 50 innings (BA 314)

12-11 at Trenton Lefties hit 257 against him, 307 for righties....

all his minor league career he gives up .280 Batting Average...

He is the least rated of the 5 prospects the Yankees have to move upward, and yet they chose him......

Scouting report
shows him to not be a leader type, and has personality problems (agreeable with others).....his overall rating was low, and his performance in clutch situations was considered (suffering)(BAD)........

It is a question mark as to why the Yanks promoted him in lieu of other top prospects to choose from...
This is from A and AA ball....he fared better in AAA as Big Weiner showed........

He has given up a .280 Batting Average overall in the Minors.......

What the Yankees pitching staff said they liked about him was for just 175#'s he had a lot of leg strength and with proper coaching, plus his endurance abilities, they feel he could develop into a good pitcher.......

He has progressed well in the last year........

You just have to pick em out as g o o g l e spits em out......
