Does anyone know how long Shell is going to play the starters tonight? And vice versa. Also any thoughts on the game would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Art Shell said he intends to go with his starters for "at least a half."

from djmauiboy in the Trends and Indexes thread:

QB Brooks to play entire first-half
San Francisco at Oakland (-3 –105)

Raiders’ coach Art Shell says there is no quarterback controversy in Oakland and tonight he hopes to prove it by not only starting Aaron Brooks, but leaving the veteran QB in for the entire first half.

Shell told insidebayarea.com Brooks can use the whole fist half to work out any kinks he still has with the Raiders’ offense.

“It will be nice,” Brooks told insidebayarea.com. “Any time we get a chance to go out there and play for the duration like that, it`s good.”

IF Brooks is playing the entire 1st half then that tells me what to take.. 9'ers all the way!

Toyer. The Raiders do have the better QB rotation. The 9ers are playing their 3rd and 4th string Qb's, from mid third quarter on. I'm playing the Raiders for both the first half and the full game. BTW, where in the Bay Area are you. I'm in Walnut Creek.
