  • Sunday night baseball

I'm going to tempt fate and go ahead and grade the Reds as a winner so I can post this one.

    Baseball Plays (+3.88 units)

    Boston Red Sox -105 (Schilling/Mussina)
I'll bite. Schilling is the one guy who shouldn't be lost without Varitek, and he's the perfect solution to end the current losing streak. The Red Sox hit righties better than the Yankees - despite what the first three games have shown - though I admit this is based more on feel than anything else.

Anyway, best of luck to everyone tomorrow.
    Records:

    NCAA Hoops (38-34-2, +4.59*)
    NFL Sides (34-25, +12.15*)
    NFL Totals (18-14-1, +8.23*)
    NCAA Foots Plays (65-48-4, +21.47*)
    NBA Plays (4-1-0, +5.92*)

As a longtime Sox fan, I hope you are right;I would think with the two game swing and considering that Yanks have taken the first three already, I would say this is the most important game of the year so far if they want to have even the slightest of chances to get back into it.
Obviously Schilling is their best pitcher and he should give a great effort.
On the other hand, Yanks have been pounding Sox pitching like there is no tomorrow.
Even if I weren't a Sox fan, I wouldn't bet either team in a game like this;Yanks might have a letdown after winning the first three games already;on the other hand Sox have been cold and have been slammed in each of first three games.
Good luck on the play, and I will of course be pulling for Sox to win.
If they don't win, it might easily be a 5 game sweep with Fatso pitching game 5 for Sox.

Yeah, I actually think this series ends 3-2. There still isn't that much difference in these teams' lineups. The Yankees have been capitilizing on walks and hitters' counts, and Schilling and Wells should put a stop to that. Schilling's home numbers (8-1, 3.24 ERA) make him almost impossible for me not to play at this short price, and Wells has had a great deal of success against the Yankees in his career (plus Lidle is almost certain to get ripped).

Thanks guys. I know I will be the only one playing this, but I just bet No +188 in aswer to "Will Tiger win the PGA?" Ridiculous line, considering the guys near the lead all have the mettle to stare him down, and LD, MW, and GO are all playing as well as he is.
