1-1-1 Friday, the push and loss both coming on bottom 9th rallies. Oh well. Small personal plays did pretty well.
Baseball Plays (+3.90 units)
Johnson/Beckett Under 5.5 (-102) - First 5 Innings
I think the game goes under, but with the state of the bullpens, who knows? These teams will have played about 8 hours Friday, but the starters will be fresh, and I expect at least one to be dominant, if not both. Beckett has been fantastic at home all year, last two starts notwithstanding, and Johnson has been in fine form recently. Boston doesn't hit lefties as well as righties, and NY doesn't hit righties as well as lefties.
Plus, I think Joe Public takes over after watching about 40 runs in the first two games. I think this total may rise, but I almost certainly won't be around to post in the morning.
Milton -1 (-103) vs. Maholm
Reds still fighting for a playoff spot, and I think they redeem the ugly loss Friday. I was hoping for a lefty-lefty matchup in this series, as the Pirates are among the worst against LHP, and the Reds are the cream of the crop.
