This is a good story about a good kid from a big family and your gonna destroy it.

he goes into the stands to give his dad a hug and kiss as well as his mom, and then signs autographs for anyone that was still there.

I'm happy for the kid who woke up this morning in AAA and got to live his dream.

Leave your judgements of the team out of it for once and feel good for a kid who got a chance and took advantage of it on the big stage.

No one took away any Kudos from the Rook Pitcher....He did quite (extremely) well for his first game........Highly unusual....

Appears to be a promising prospect, but it was the Astros---- (.258 BA) with only the Indians and Tampa Bay being lower....

What I think Spark et al meant by their comments was, when the Cubs GM, and their fantastic Coach, the "Lizard" Baker, gets to their always wrong evaluations, he just might be trading material.........

You're hearts too heavy with affection for the Cubs, to realisticly discuss or joke about the Cubs............

Simply put, they may have some talent here, maybe not, time will tell, but will he develop properly under the Lizard, IMO---no....I don't think Baker is a good mgr, and their GM is suspect also........the Orginization needs some changes to properly meet the demands and love shown by their loyal fans, including (especially) you......

On baseball tonite, they said the kid said he never felt anything like that before (referring to his elbow).
