  • This afternoon's Cubs starter

Since the Cubs used their entire staff last night (today's scheduled starter got the win in relief and even Zambrano pinch-hit), they had to call up a guy from Iowa to start this afternoon. He's not even on the 40-man roster. Here are his stats this year:

Houston and Pettite are huge -210 faves. I have no opinion on the game.

O'Malley is crap, the only way the Astros lose this game is if Brad Lidge pitches

I'm pretty sure the Astros are going to closer by comittee after Load 'em up Lidge last nite.

They are...read this morning that Garner finally pulled the plug on Lidge and said they would be closers by comittee.

The next time closer by committe works will be the first.
The kid certainly looks good today.
                  Records:

                  NCAA Hoops (38-34-2, +4.59*)
                  NFL Sides (34-25, +12.15*)
                  NFL Totals (18-14-1, +8.23*)
                  NCAA Foots Plays (65-48-4, +21.47*)
                  NBA Plays (4-1-0, +5.92*)

                    LOL...agree 100%

Yeah, O'Malley looks good...just throwing a lot of "at'em" balls.

And the Cubs REALLY needed him to go deep.

                    Good for him.

This team is a joke. Cannot score.
