get him out of the game, why don't they have another long man. Randolph is crazy hernandez has nuttin tonight and he's at 90 plus pitches already.
Two shit games in a row...oh well, I guess the lead will be down to a miniscule 13 games. If it gets to 12, I will panic.
He has to keep El Duque in because the bullpen is won out after last nights debacle. El Duque is the sacrifical lamb tonight. Why waste the bullpen when you are getting blown out...save 'em for tomorrow in case you need them.
outscored 24-2 in last 2 games against the Phillies.. man now thats great for a team that is supposed to be a "LOCK" for the World Series
What's your point? All teams have bad games and a stretch of bad games.

This is a useless thread.
Frank, trying to rationalize with T Mouth is like banging your head against a wall. He gets all hyped up over one at bat, one outing, 2 games...he will never understand that it is a journey and not a sprint.

It's ridiculous to expect teams and players to perform at peak levels every game and every day.
There's examples with every team and every sport each season. Steelers won the Superbowl. At one point in the season they were 7-5. Off three straight losses. Their fans were packing in the season. The fans didn't even think they'd make the playoffs let alone with the SB.

You are preaching to the choir, my man. Rivera blows a save last week and I don't say a thing. Lidle gets rocked, it happens. A-Rod makes another error...big deal, I would still take him on my team (if we didn't have Wright or Reyes). He just goes nuts after everyone's poor outing and rips people/teams for one poor showing...makes zero sense.
