Teams that have a rush differential of 3+ yards per play (YPR + opponent's YPR allowed) are generally solid bets, and they are golden as underdogs.

Unless I have a game capped differently I'll play any unranked team that is favored over a ranked team.

Also, in the NFL, after about week 5, I like to play teams with losing records that are favored over teams with winning records.

I'm not a big systems guy, but I'll always give teams that fit into these systems a long look.
    Records:

    NCAA Hoops (38-34-2, +4.59*)
    NFL Sides (34-25, +12.15*)
    NFL Totals (18-14-1, +8.23*)
    NCAA Foots Plays (65-48-4, +21.47*)
    NBA Plays (4-1-0, +5.92*)

In the NFL the better rushing team getting points is often very solid.

An old pro told a friend of mine:" whatever you bet on NFL, bet 10x on college football. CFB is far and away the easiest sport to beat.
                        Luck favors the prepared.

Play on a home favorite off a shutout win where they scored 30 or more points vs this week's opponent off a loss.
