Baseball Plays (+1.90)
Reds (Harang) @ Cardinals (Carpenter) Under 9 (-109)
In their last start, both pitchers struggled with the opposing lineup, and Cincy won 8-7 in walkoff fashion. That's not likely to happen in the rematch Tuesday. Harang is among the best road pitchers in the league (2.43 ERA, 1.2 WHIP), and Carpenter is the best home pitcher (1.92 ERA, WHIP ever slightly above 1.0).
Normally I like to play under in a lefty-lefty matchup, but neither of these teams hits righties particularly well. The Cards aren't hitting anything right now. Busch is nowhere near as much a hitter's park as Ameriquest, and I think the results are different in St. Louis.
I played a couple things small Monday - Detroit and KC both receiving outrageous prices.
