  • I smell fish

early this Monday morning. LA and San Diego have the exact same match up as 7/2/03
The total on that day was 7, the game pushed the total. Just a few days later, the same match up and the total opens at 7½ov ??????????
Who in their right mind is going to bet over?
Did I mention, the game went extra innings, and still it didn't go over

Agree. The LA games are obscene when it comes to the totals. Who would bet the over in a LA game. If today's happens to go over(don't want to spin the wrong mojo), take the under tomorrow and the next day, etc. I only lay off Kevin Brown, for some reason his games go over more than any pitcher on the staff.

            !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The total for the 7/2/03 game wasn't 7. It was 8.5.

I didn't remember right away, but I do now--I had the over in that game and was unhappy because I didn't get it despite the extra innings.

So a week passes, the two teams meet again and the total is 7.5--which is a downward adjustment of a run, which makes sense considering that the same two teams and pitchers played on 7/2 and scored 7 runs!

I still like the over in tonight's game, but not as much as I originally thought.

                  LOL. . .

. . . that's fine. I forgot the motto that is affixed to the bottom of your posts. I'm telling you though, my man gave me 8.5 for that game. Vegasinsider.com has the final total for the 7/2 game as 8.5: http://www.vegasinsider.com/u/baseba.../LA/index.html

Bottom line is, 7.5 still seems fishy given that these teams struggled to score 7 in ten innings last week. I am still on the over with you.

                        haven't forgotten you Wiz

You posted that SD/LA over play before anyone else, I believe, and even if the final score had been 7-0, it would have been the right call. Thank you!
