i do not think timlin blows leads all the time...i think his record and era indicate otherwise.....he has had a tough spell and the sox have injuries of course....but they are still in the ***** of things.....I also do not believe in rooting for other teams....Winners worry about winning themselves and the rest will fall in place.....JMHO

Detroit has a solid starting staff. Outside of Rogers they have a young staff. If they keep their staff intact and the pitchers don't get injured they should be a solid team for years.Originally posted by MtrCtyPimpWE DO
Robertson, Miner and Maroth are pretty good, 4, 5 & 6

Hacker, Are you serious with this post? Mike Timlin over the last four years with no doubt is one of the top 5 set up men in baseball. Just beacuse he blew a game yesterday hardly means he sucks. And as far as their starting pitching if it wasn't for injuries it would look pretty good compared to most rotations. Tim Wakefield's injury has been huge because not only have we lost the 6 to 7 strong innings per start but it has moved Jon Lester into the three spot. Lster at this point in his career looks much better as a 4 than a 3.
