"WiseMen" plays for Sunday 8-06-06

The "formula" spit out quite a few plays today.......I don't deviate from the "formula". I take what it gives me........here they are..........

Phillies.................+1..............1 1/2* ML OK for 1*
Cubs...................ML..............1*
Rockies...............ML...............1 1/2*
Rockies...............+1................2 1/2*
Astros.................ML................1*
W Sox.................ML................1 1/2*
Tigers.................ML................1*
Twins.................ML.................1 1/2*
Rangers..............+1..................1* ML OK also for 1*
A's.....................ML.................1 1/2*

I don't isolate a game. even if I agree/disagree with the WiseMen formula........The Kaptains pick may be some games that were close to being a 3wm play, or just my opinion......
However; I don't play any game (as the Kapt) that goes against the 3wm formula........Some of my plays may be the same, with variatons to the ML-RL (1 or 1 1/2) totals etc......

Thought I'd explain this to you guys, so you don't think our plays are the same......Variatons of, never opposite.........Sometimes I try to middle em-kapt

On Tues 8/1, you actually posted Florida as a 10* play and had The Mets as a 3WM play and they were playing each other. I thought it was odd but didn't want to ruffle any feathers. And I'm not looking to ruffle any now either but I thought i would bring it to your attention. Thanks for the hard work. gl

This is true----Fla won 6-5, thus my 10* play hit, and the 3wm game lost.......

I guess I should have said, it's very rare for me to go against the 3 wm.....However; if it's my top rated play, I'll do it.........

You should have said something then......I've always said comments, good or bad, plus any corrections you deem needed, bring em on...

You must follow my plays pretty closely to have known this.......Whether they be Kapt's or 3 wm's........kapt

Though I've never seen you get too upset with anyone, SOME people around here get pretty irate quickly when they perceive ANY comments as a slight. So I'd just prefer to keep my mouth shut, stay mostly in the background and off anyone's "list."

any comment, whether good or bad is OK in my threads.......

I can get upset, has happened a couple of times, and I go ballastic.....Rare though.....

with me, everything is in the presentation......I'll treat you as you treat me........Attitude is a very important asset to me..........

But you're right, SOME are too "thin skinned" around here, and they take things to heart.......

Any mistakes, I make, and are brought to my attention, will be justified or corrected....I'm human.....I'm OLD....

The only reason I said anything, in a humorous way, is you must follow the 3wm and the Kapt pretty loyaly, to have detected the last few errors on my part.......

You're welcome in my threads any time my man----It's all cool, and as you have already seen, I've added some MEATHEAD humor to my posts......

The 3WM selections are from a formula utilizing Dunkel that created by the Kaptain. The Kaptain's selections are plays that he handicaps. On rare occasions the two plays conflict. It's never been an issue before because Coverboy posted the 3WM plays. There is and never has been any malicious activities. The Kaptain plays lots of games. Add in the fact that he's an OF (old f*ck). He sometimes forgets. lol

My advice? If you play 3WM plays continue to do so. Likewise if you play the Kaptain's selections. If you play both 3WM and the Kaptain's then pass on the conflicting games.
