Well, it turns out to have been a good day yesterday going 5-2 overall with an underdog winner on Detroit. But, for the 2nd straight day the top play loses on Philadelphia. There must be something in the air(kidding). Also, a brutal 3-teamer, won't be giving out many more of those. On with today's plays...

Yankees have been a very tough home beat lately before entering this series with their rival BoSox. Today looks like a turn around with Andy Pettite heading to the hill. He has won 4 straight decisions, and has dominated the Sox in his career posting an impressive 11-4 mark and a 2.55 era. Burkett has pitched well lately but has been horrible against the Yanks in his career. He is 0-5 with a lofty 10.09 era. Hard to see the Yanks dropping 3 in a row to Boston at home. Look for them to take care of business today.
