I am ready to bring it this football season. I am done with being the sheep and will try to be the sheapard. I will be posting my own picks all season (hopefully anyways, barring i go broke). I want to start off with some team totals. I follow the NFC east pretty closely as the eagles are my team and I think there are some win totals that may be worth looking into. Everyone thinks the top two teams are dallas and washington. WHAT A JOKE! while I believe that dallas is a threat and a strong team, washington is nothing short of a joke. Brunell is almost as old as bruce smith (is he still playing? haha) and i dont' care how fast randel el is he is nothing but a trick play/punt returner. what a nice hit for him on that over priced contract. I think they have the "yankee syndrome" just buy everyone that is available and hope they mix into a winner...thats not how it works. I like washington UNDER 9 wins Their out of division schedule is not very strong, but the skins always find a way to dissapoint in a non division, home game that they should win. ie last season against seattle, oakland and san diego...all 3 games they could have won. This season they can do it against carolina, atlanta or jax, at least 2 are tough outs. Then you through in the tough...TOUGH division games and I don't see them winning 9. Although I am biased, I think the eagles are getting no love this season, and may put a small wager on the over of their win total.
