We hit nicely on the over in the Chi W Sox game. Now 7-2 on 10*. It was over in the 3rd inning.
I would certainly consider a similar play again on the Over in the White Sox but am watching the weather- If similar to last night it might just be the ticket especially with the recent pitching stats of opposing pitchers- however the umpire is an unders fella.
We do have favorable umpiring and similar ingredients from the pitchers on this game.

Notes on Eaton Gave up 1 hit in 3 2/3 innings giving up 3 runs to the Yanks. He may be a sleeper tonight. He gave up 4 BB and 4 SO. Interesting- the 1 hit performance- must have tired giving up 3 walks and a hit possibly.

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Texas Rangers General Manager Jon Daniels announced today that the club has activated RHP Adam Eaton from the 60-day DL and designated RHP Bryan Corey for assignment.
Eaton, 28, was placed on the DL after tearing a tendon in his right middle finger in his spring start on March 29 against the San Diego Padres. Originally placed on the 15-day DL, Eaton was transferred to the 60-day DL on April 19 after undergoing surgery, performed by Dr. Don Sheridan, on April 4.

Eaton made 2 rehab appearances for both Triple-A Oklahoma and Double-A Frisco, combining to go 0-0, 1.46 (2 ER/12.1 IP) in his 4 rehab appearances. He finished spring training 0-2, 11.25 (10 ER/8.0 IP) over 4 appearances/starts.

The Seattle, Wash. native ended 2005 going 11-5, 4.27 (61 ER/128.2 IP) over 24 appearances/22 starts for the San Diego Padres. Eaton established a career-high eight-game win-streak, April 21-June 9, 2005, with an ERA of 3.16 (22 ER/62.2 IP) over 10 starts during his streak.

Corey, 32, went 1-1, 2.60 (5 ER/17.1 IP) over 16 appearances for the Rangers since having his contract purchased on June 9.

MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- With his first start with the Texas Rangers finally under his belt, Adam Eaton will try for his first win with the team Tuesday against the Minnesota Twins.

Acquired in a trade with San Diego last winter, Eaton (0-1, 7.36 ERA) suffered a finger injury in spring training that delayed his Rangers debut until last Tuesday. Although he allowed only one hit, Eaton issued four walks and was charged with three runs in 3 2/3 innings of a 7-4 loss to the New York Yankees.

Eaton's first AL win cannot come soon enough for the Rangers, who have dropped seven of their last eight games. After a 15-2 rout of Kansas City on Sunday prevented a winless six-game homestand, Texas opened a 10-game road trip on the short end of a 15-2 drubbing here Monday.

Nick Punto went 4-for-4 with four runs and Torii Hunter returned from the disabled list to collect four RBI for the Twins, who also scored 15 runs against Texas on May 9. Carlos Silva was the beneficiary of both 15-run outbursts vs. the Rangers.

Minnesota's highest scoring output came in support of Scott Baker (3-6, 6.27), who posted a 16-10 win against Milwaukee on May 20. The Twins did not generate any offense in his last start, however, an 11-0 setback at Cleveland on July 22.

Sandwiched around a nearly two-month stint in the minors, Baker has gone 2-5 with a 7.36 ERA in his last eight starts.

The Twins have won 36 of their last 46 games to climb within one game of both the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox, who lead the wild-card chase in the AL. Conversely, the Rangers have gone from the top spot the AL West as recently as mid-June to last in the tightly-packed division entering August.
