Marlins -107 (Olsen/Pelfrey)
First of all, I love the idea of fading the Mets after they swept the Braves in Atlanta for the first time in over 20 years. And laying this short number with a far superior pitcher is right in my wheelhouse.
Olsen has been dominant lately, giving up 0 earned runs in his last two starts, and winning his last three. His 9-4 record for the year is not a mirage. The Mets start Mike Pelfrey, who beat the Marlins in his first start, 17-3. He had a rocky day though, giving up all the runs on 5 hits and 4 walks in just 5 innings. His WHIP and ERA are both considerably worse than Olsen's.
A lot of people would hesitate here because the "Mets are a lot better team." Well, the Marlins actually have the best record in the NL the past couple months (I got this stat from the Braves' announcers - I don't remember the exact date, but it was at least a 50 game span). A big reason is Olsen's success, and I think it will continue Tuesday night, albeit against a tough foe.
