Ortiz reminds me a lot of Barry Bonds a couple of years ago, like the year Barry hit 73. It is amazing how Ortiz hits only 58 home runs in six years for the Twins and comes to Boston and doubles in size and hits over 150 home runs while in Boston for 4 years. Unbelievable!!!

I have a feeling that in the forseeable future Ortiz might be walked in situations like tonight or if not a near intentional pass(try to get him to chase a bad ball) even if it means advancing the runners.
Yeah-I know Manny is no bargain either, but still I think opposing managers will think that their chances might be better(how could they be worse?).
