i am sure they attempted to deal....not a great pool of talent out there and i am sure they wanted too much of our future.....

all the teams are thankful for george...he is a huge salary dump for teams....nobody else could have or would have done that deal.....It is fiscal irresponsibility......It is like a rich guy can afford to go out and not price shop and piss money away...whereas most teams and people have to have it make fiscal sense.....

i would not be so proud of that, because that type of spending really has not translated into titles....

that being said i am fearful this will put the yanks over the sox in the east!!!
