I'd love this trade to be made. I've been hoping we could trade Andruw for anything near market value - I think he is as overrated as any player in the game.
    Records:

    NCAA Hoops (38-34-2, +4.59*)
    NFL Sides (34-25, +12.15*)
    NFL Totals (18-14-1, +8.23*)
    NCAA Foots Plays (65-48-4, +21.47*)
    NBA Plays (4-1-0, +5.92*)

Plus, the Braves need a leadoff hitter in the worst way.

Yeah, he struggled in that role in Boston, but he would still be a huge improvement over Marcus Giles, who is the prototypical #2 hitter.

You need to watch more of him. Struggled ISN'T the word. He failed in Cleveland and Boston so it's not an option!

And you need to watch more often. Marcus Giles has the worst OBP of any player to leadoff more than 50 games this season. I'm looking for anyone, and Crisp would be an upgrade right now.
Maybe Aybar can do the job and it will be moot, but his track record is worse than Crisp's.

That's great but the discussion was about Coco being a leadoff hitter and he isn't.

Wayne, it's all relative. I can say Scott Rolen isn't a cleanup hitter, but if my current cleanup hitter is Doug Mientkiewicz, and I have a chance to get Rolen, that's an improvement.
That's the way I feel about Crisp if he had come to Atlanta.

jordan, I was 100% serious. I get a chance to trade an aging outfielder who has historically been terrible in the clutch (he was under .200 with RISP almost all season last year - which was the best season of his career) for two very good young pitchers and a CF who wouldn't be a drop off defensively, and would give the Braves their biggest need - speed. I'd have done it in a heartbeat.
