  • Lock Of The Century!

Just kidding, I know how everyone loves the use of the word 'lock'...but the Yankees history of bouncing back from ass whippings is very good. I have no idea what the matchups are for tomorrow, but if I were a betting man, I would probably wager a hefty amount on them either money line or -1 (if the money line were high, which I am sure it probably is).

I agree with ya on that one buddy.. When the Yanks get that ass handed to them like they did today they usually come right back and give it back the next day.. As for tomorrow the starters are Mussina VS Shields..

From my memory it seems that during the last few years the Yanks have been whaled about 4 or 5 times real good like today, and the culprit is always Tampa Bay or Cleveland.
And yes, Yanks do return the favor the next day for the most part if memory serves me.

Savage, you disappoint me...your Sox put an 18 spot up on the Yankees twice last year...one was 18-1, not sure what the other one was....how could you forget....

His first 2 words were "Just Kidding".

Did you miss that or did you just feel like sending some negativity into another members thread?

Now that you mention it , you are right.
Don't ask me to explain it, other than the fact that the Yanks have turned the tables so many times on the Sox, that in mnay instances I simply remember a win by Sox over the Yanks and not necessarily the margin as I would with some other team like Tampa or Cleveland playing the Yankees.
Confused by my answer?; don't worry-it doesn't make much sense to me either. lol
