Just amazing what he's done since coming from Minnesota where he was labeled as a has been.

Now he's arguablely the greatest clutch hitter of our time.

      Congrats Boston fans

Pujols is probably the best player in baseball but in those extra inning clutch situations, i got to go with Papi. It is unbelieveable how many times he gets a hit to win a game. Maybe others don't see it as often as Boston fans cause they don't watch all their games but it is UNREAL!

They showed stats early in the game saying how he has pretty much the no. 1 ranking in every clutch category since the start of the '03 season!

I wish A-Rod had 1/10 of Ortiz's clutch ability. Just joking around being that Ortiz is a Yankee killer. As much as I hate to say it the guy is dynamite.

Never has a dribbler off the end of the bat been awarded so much praise...
But yeah, Poo Holes is the only guy even in his league in big situations.

I have heard several people ask/wonder why more pitchers don't knock Papi down more than they do to try to instill some fear into him.
On the other hand, I would hate to be any pitcher seeing Ortiz charging out at him ready to fight if he thought the pitch which either hit him or was thrown at him was deliberate.
I wonder what the line would be on who would win that fisticuff(probably off the board in most cases as line would be prohibitive).
