Tavares is terrible!!

Every time i see him come in a game i cringe....He always seems to put himself in jams....and this time he plunks the leadoff guy.......Keep your fingers crossed that he can hold em here and we can push 1 across!!

Here is what I wrote in the Red Sox forum in response to a question as to why Papelbon couldn't go one more inning:

Yeah why can't Papelbon pitch one more inning?
He pitched two innings.
I remember the days when Radatz would come in sometimes in the 6th or 7th inning and stay in for the duration, and he would do it day after day;I remember one day when the game went extra innings against the Yanks and he pitched 8(magnificent) innings.
Pitchers today are pampered way too much.
Papelbon is very young and hasn't even pitched much lately;I don't get it.

True, but as bad as he is, if I had to choose between him and Seanez, I would choose him(Tavarez)-pick your poison.
