Another bad loss last night...right when you start to think they are pulling themselves off the canvas, they get punched in the gut again. I still think they are going to make a run for the Wild Card...not sure why I feel that way as they have shown nothing the last 7 weeks....

Timlin has been horrendous in the last month(including last night), giving up game after big or winning hits late in the game.
I think he is finished, and Sox should rid themselves of him at the end of this season along with Seanez, Tavarez, Snyder and Jason Johnson.

I am now a quasi Yankees fan since placing a bet on them about 2 weeks ago to win the World Series.

In just 2 weeks of rooting for the Yankees, I have realized why their fans love Jeter so much and why so many of them hate A-Rod.

I swear whenever there is a clutch situation (runners on, 2 outs for instance) I just EXPECT A-Rod to fail/Jeter to succeed. And rarely are my expectations not fulfilled.

It seems like every time A-Rod comes up a man on and 1 out he grounds into a DP.

Meanwhile, Jeter gets clutch hit after clutch hit. He's awesome.
