  • Spears MLB Tuesday

I placed a self-imposed one day ban on myself for posting a ridiculous under on a game in which Seo pitched- Embarrassing to post such folly.
I fucked up. Bover said he would take all spankings in lieu of good lucks today and I know a few of ya are jealous.

    Today I like:

    St. Louis -108
    Arizona -140

St. Louis/Colorado Under for 5 innings. (only the bull pen will kill the under today for 9 innings- thus mu play is on 5.)

Parlay-St. Louis Cardinals -108Baseball - MLB NATIONAL LEAGUE - Moneyline
    Wed@3:05p

Arizona Diamondbacks -140Baseball - MLB NATIONAL LEAGUE - Moneyline
    Wed@7:05p

St. Louis plays better in the day and has the best record for such at 28-9. St. Louis is 10-5 playing on Wednesday and 14-7 in July.

Colorado is 1-6 after getting shut out. Colorado is 6-14 in July games and 5-10 on Wednesday. Colorado is 15-13 in day games.

    On June 16 Cook/Colorado lost 8-1.
Cook gave up only 2 runs in 7innings and the Colorado sent in the relief who apparently didn't like the game close at 2-1 -so they handed the Cards a gift.

He has a 5.00 ERA in his last 3 and a whip of 1.778. His home starts are 3.84 ERA and his all starts are 3.80.

This indicates his pitching has diminished since the all-star break. At a closer look- Cook in a three game analysis- has pitched 18 innings given up 10 runs and 26 hits. He had two poor games against Arizona-which is one of the hottest teams in the second half so far and is my second play for the day. In his other game against Cinncy- he pitched 7 innings for 1 run.

On Suppan pitching for St. Louis-SUPPAN is 4-1 when starting against COLORADO with an ERA of 3.99 and a WHIP of 1.226.
Suppan in his last 3 games had a bad game against the Braves giving up 10 runs 9 ER) on 9 hits in 3 1/3 innings--then pitches back to back 5 hitters to the Dodgers netting only 1 run.

    Why Arizona
Webb has been terrific- last 3 games he has given up 3 ER in 22 innings - nuff said. He has a 1.23 ERA and a whip of 1.00 for those same 3 games. These were against the Dodgers, Brewers and Rockies- not your elite teams but neither is Philly. Arizona has been one of the hottest teams - take in account their easy schedule so far in the second half- and its easy to grab the early value.
