I hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE fucking Oakland.

    1-0 defeat at home.

2-hit at home, by the second-weakest pitcher in the Anaheim lineup.

Why can't this team score runs? They only needed 2 tonight.

      Bgh2003,

Just my opinion...But, don't you think Dye is absolutely killing them...They have to face it, Dye's hitting isnt coming around and getting worse...Tejada is getting hot...I know Dye can be a gem on defense when healthy, but he's not even 100% healthy!!!

What's the purpose of having all these pitchers when you can't score?

I went against the A's but played a fire cracker on the Over

Now I need the Dodgers for a really great night and hopefully the Giants hold on and Rangers and Under come in, but I have more faith in little leaguers scoring right now than the A's or Dodgers

Imagine an A's=Dodger world series....Totals could break below 6...Itd be doubtful, but possible...Hey we say a 3 1/2 total in hockey this year in the cup finals

But, Im not gonna knock the entire teams...My hats go off to the great pitching and effort both the Dodgers and A's make...Imagine how hard it is for those pitchers to pitch gems and get no support...At least the A's have hitting potential, but the Dodgers- ugh....I know theyre both money tapped, but could make some room and learn from the White Sox...I wouldnt give up on the teams with those great pitching staffs, but obviously neither team will get a big time slugger, so the blame has to go to the managers to "learn" how to manufacture runs

Good luck to you and its great to see new faces like you.

Funny that you said that about Dye--earlier in the game Tejada doubled with 2 outs and Anaheim intentionally walked Durazo to face Dye, who obliged by grounding out. He did have a clutch sacrifice fly (if there can be such a thing) against Seattle the other night, but generally has been awful since coming back.

Oakland just frustrates the hell out of me. I thought they had awakened out of their slumber by taking 2 of 3 at San Fran and boldly predicted that they would make a statement with the four game series at home against Seattle. . . instead, they split the series, and the bats remained dead. Tejada is coming around, and Byrnes is having a great year, but the rest of the lineup is on again, off again. . . you have to wonder the "Animal House" reputation that team has leaks onto the playing field sometimes. Some games they just doesn't seem to give a damn. Getting shut out 1-0 at home (and two-hit) by a mediocre Anaheim team is ridiculous. . . there are 165 games a season, I know, and not every game is meaningful, but come on.

I have the D'Backs, but it looks like you are having a tolerable night with the rest of your plays. Good luck to you and thank you for the welcome.
