Winner yesterday on rated play Royals +109, and on the only small personal play, Pirates +153.
Baseball Plays (61-57, +9.18*)
Colorado Rockies -108 (Cook/Suppan)
The Rockies' home record is basically the same as the Cards' road record, and they send the far superior pitcher to the mound in this one. Aaron Cook is the best 6-8 pitcher I can remember. He pitches almost two more innings per start than Suppan, has an ERA nearly 1.5 runs lower, and his home ERA is 3.84. Suppan's road ERA is 7.79, and his WHIP is close to 2.00 in those games. He gives up some runs here, and I can't expect a sputtering Cardinal offense to score enough runs to get it done in this one.
Small personal plays:
Royals +101 - With the loss yesterday, the Orioles moved to 3-17 on the road against LHSP. The Royals aren't great against lefties, but they average over 5 rpg against them at home, compared to the Orioles 3.1 rpg against lefties on the road.
White Sox/Brewers parlay (pays around +170) - really like both these teams in this spot. Capuano is unbeatable at home, and the Pirates are incapable of beating lefties on the road. Buerhle has been struggling, but he should have success against a Minnesota lineup that is not good against lefties or on the road. Silva is basically garbage, and I expect the White Sox to shell him.
Good luck guys, I will be going out of town from Wednesday-Sunday, so if I get to post after today, it will be short and sweet.
