    Another Night of NO RUN SUPPORT for Clemens

    I mean the guy has an ERA under 3 and he will fall to 2-4.....The Astros bats just plain old stink!!!

    Watch they will throw up a 10 spot tomorrow...ha ha.....but i lost on em tonight!!

    I was going to play Houston but EVERY time i do, they NEVER score any runs for me. Why again did Clemens choose Houston? If he wants to play, why not go to a team you KNOW is going to still be in it in September???

      Yeah, why I don't just bet under every time he starts is beyond me - I must not like money.

              They should trade him for some great young talent and give Clemens one more chance at a ring!

                Clemens is only in it for the money. If he wanted a ring, he would have taken the money elsewhere where he would have had a chance to play in October. He takes home his many millions and doesn't travel with the team...he has a GREAT deal since he is in it for himself....

                  I don't know about that. He's playing for a team that is basically the same as the one that went to the WS last season.

                    I will be the first to admit that I do not follow the Astros all that much, but they were a .500 team that couldn't hit when he re-signed. He could have signed for more money and had a DEFINITIVE chance to play on a team that will play meaningful games in late September, but he chose the comfort of playing close to home. IMO, winning is not terribly important to him.

                            Are you kidding me????

                            For the money...Clemens has tons of money, he could have gotten more to go elsewhere. He does want to win, but he wants to win for his HOMETOWN. He doesnt need a ring all that bad, last I checked he already has one and a few Cy Youngs. He is in playing for Houston because its his hometown and he gets priveleges he would not get in another city. And as for a team thats going to be there in September, the Astros have been playing the last two Octobers.
