Savage, you dont know how the details about this case, I am 100% sure it was more than a hug.. You seem like you may have gotten into trouble for something like this when you were younger..

Sexual harrassment can be a problem in the work place. However, I believe as a society regarding harrassment we've gone from one extreme to the other. Men and women think entirely different. It's unfair that as a guy I have to be ultra-concerned about what and how I say something. Something I utter can be construed as harrassment. There's no clear cut guidelines. We have to always be so politically correct. People simply need to get thicker skin and shrug some things off.

Just yesterday my neighbor called animal control on one of my dogs. They issued me a warning. The next time I get a summons. The neighbor that called lied to animal control. He told animal control that my dog charged and bit him. My friend who took the dog out to go to the bathroom told me a completely different story. The dog went over to my neighbor. The dog NEVER acted in a aggressive manner. Never barked. Never growled. Never bit. My neighbor has an axe to grind because my dog shit on his lawn a few months. The moral? A person can do or say anything to get another person in trouble.

All that being said. If Reynolds has a long history of harrassment then he should be fired. There's no excuse for continued violations.

And did he show animal control the bite mark? If he couldn't then there shouldn't be any problem.

What constitutes flirting? My ex-GF often accused me of flirting. I wasn't. Should I stifle my outgoing, good sense of humor personality? Of course not. Isn't that what she fell in love with? Of course it is. It's unfair for any person to ask and expect another to change.

We all adapt and change some in a relationship, but when you jump in the ship you should know what you've got to start with. And the older you are the harder it will be to adapt or change.

What would have happened for example if Harold Reynolds came out of the closet and admitted he was guy and was say caught making improper advances toward Chris Berman who also admitted to being gay but did not like the advances of Reynolds? Would ESPN have fired either one of them or both of them and what would be the stated reason?

Nobody has addressed this from the perspective of the employer. If an employee claims sexual harassment, it is THE COMPANY, not the harasser that is liable.

If a company determines somebody has done the harassing, they better fire him or expect to pay a fortune in damages.

I think that's total bullshit, but it's the way it is. Savage can thank his Bill Clinton and all the liberal judges he put on federal courts that have interpreted sexual harassment so broadly and forced employers to can people just because some woman can't figure out how to deal with a goof.

World politics is one thing, but day to living and what is correct and what is not is another matter for me anyways.
Working for 34 years in Transitional Assistance(Public Welfare) was very enlightening as far as many things go, and even though I am a product of the 60's, my domestic views in many instances are far from liberal.
