Underdog Game of the Month
YTD (13-13)
Have not posted since Sunday afternoon. Was 3-0 on my plays that day, with the top play on Anaheim hitting and an underdog on the Cubs. Did lose my parlay only due to an unbelievable 4 run blown lead by the Mariners bullpen with 1 out in the ninth and nobody on base. Did count the parlay as a loss in my overall record. Today I'm going with just one play, and it's my biggest play I've posted so far this year. I'm going to step out and call it my Underdog Game of the Month!
San Diego Padres +110
Peavy has been fantastic in has last four starts. He is 4-0 and has pitched 14 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball. Career he is 2-0 vs. the Giants with a respectable ERA of 3.27. The Padres are in a groove playing without a doubt their best ball of the year. They have been putting together timely hitting, not to mention against the best pitching staff in baseball (Dodgers). I look for them to take the first game of this series against a very good Giants team, but an up and down pitcher in Jesse Foppert.
