The train keeps running...My attitude towards gambling is 100% from the financial markets....Of course stocks go down, but the goal is to have a nice return end of year...Most people lose in stocks and gambling cause of short term emotions...Ive seen people dump a great stock cause on a particular day the stock was tumbling....2 weeks later the stock nearly doubled on great news
Never ever panic in any investment...I believe anyone can learn to pick stocks and sports or any other investment...but I also believe 90% of investors are beat by "themselves" via panic or clouded judgement.
If you don't do this for s high and don't panic and judge day to day, you'll do well...of course the key is capital...To make money you have to have money....People who gamble or invest money they cant afford to lose, well they're making their own bed
Cool. Thanks for the response. Best of luck to you too. Another question. Do you adjust your bet sizes when up or down? I've seen where people will bet a certain % of their bankroll and adjust weekly. Supposed to help capitalize on a run and soften the tough times.
HC. I think I've seen him say that all plays are 1-3, so if there is no rating, it is a 1. I guess this is right and hope it helps. Good luck to you and happy 4th.
Public (including me) was all over Cincy and the over. Glavine threw a gem, Reds blew and despite 4 errors and a boatload of unearned runs and extra outs, the final stayed under. Good work.

. . . but he was looking for the perfect pitch to hit and refused to acknowledge the fact that the umpire was calling the outside corner strike. How about protecting the plate, you overpaid piece of trash? Never took the bat off his shoulder.

Here's something surprising- the public ALL OVER the Red Sox...Im talking HUGE....I totally passed on the game cause its the first time in many years Ive seen the public against the Yanks...Any other day I would have taken the Yanks...But, that is a weird event public going with the BoSox on the 4th at New York!!!
Plus, there could always be that Joe Billionaire offshore betting a ton on the Yanks that no one can track...You just never know...But, the public turned on the beloved Yanks today on the 4th? Go figure!!!
. . . not knowing that, I played the Yanks, which is looking OK with a quick 2-0 NY lead in the first. Red Sox have not played well recently (losing 2 of 3 in Tampa and very nearly getting swept) and I loved New York at the price (-150).

Good luck and yes I see nice start, but very early...For me it was to strange of a game to play...You rarely see people go anti-Yanks on days like today...Hope the Yanks win for you and all on them...I'll come back and play other games instead
*** I didnt see Griffey's at bat you guys are talking about...But, the funniest comparisons ever was when the media and the world used to say how much better Griffey was than Bonds...Or when they all said how superior Barry Sanders was to Emmitt Smith...People get to impressed with "fancy" crap...Its about results, and trust me Bonds would not look at 3 strikes go right by him with out taking a shot....Now everyone is so impressed with Tracy McGrady...So what he throws the ball off the glass and dunks...Mean while the likes of Duncan and Kobe are students of the game and get RESULTS!!!
