  • Wow....The Twins are for Real!

I do not know about anybody else, but i kind of chalked the twins up as too little....too late....But i just looked and they are only 3 games out of the wild-card....Anybody have any thoughts on this team....I know they have a good young nucleus and a good pitching staff, but what are their chances???

Just wondering...bored this morning....Just got back from a 4 mile run on the beach......My neck hurts from looking at all the chicks.....You look at one and say she is f'n hot....only to see a hotter one 20 ft. ahead......WOW!!!!

All I know is that when The Twins swept the Red Sox back in the middle of June, I was irritated(even though right after that Sox won 12 in a row), wondering how that could possibly happen and that Sox had probably taken them too lightly.
It is obvious now that the sweep was no fluke, as this is a very good team and a definite threat for the Wildcard.

i saw alot of these guys in new britain (the twins aa club)......they definitely develop talent...they must have a heck of a scouting dept.,...because they have a low payroll....they have also dealt away alot of guys too......

I am glad they are winning....like to see small market teams be competitive.....i mean they could really make it.......they would be something....It is shaping up to be a great august/september

I would go to Fort Walton Beach...it is supposed to have one of the best school systems in the state.....

I probably will move a little north next year....Lauderdale is fun, but if you are not on the water it is changing dramatically....

Looking at Stuart, Jupiter...in that area

Yeah i have more than likely been to every square inch of the state of Florida with me being born there and living there for the first 13 years of my life.. I have a best friend that lives in Ft. Walton and a uncle that lives in Panama City Beach.. Jupiter is a very very nice place to live at..

I pay a lot of attention to the twins organization and always have. General manager Terry Ryan is one of the best around and always has his eyes on the big picture and has a keen eye for potential.

I was surprised at the all star break how all of the sports radio talk in the twin cities was that everyone should stop dreaming because it will take a miracle for the twins to make the playoffs. They are still a long shot, but look how much they have closed the gap since the all star break. I honestly don't see the CWS playing anything close to how they did the 2nd half last year, I believe they fold under ozzie's weird ass regime.

The twins will be lucky to make the playoffs, but man are they fun to watch right now. And as griswold points out, they are still underdogs. And they are 30-7 in their last 37. They have this set with the indians, then 4 at the CWS, then next weekend 3 game set at home against the tigers. I am pumped for the next 9 games.

                            We're gonna win twins
                            we're gonna score
                            we're gonna win twins
                            watch that baseball soar

                            hit out a home run
                            shout a hip hooray
cheer for the minnesota twins today
Everybody dies, but not everyone lives.
