Someone Told Me There Are 2 Good Fights Tomorrow Night Dose Anyone Know Anything About This

  • #2
i know the fight between gatti and baldomir......It should be a good one......Both are similar in style, but baldamir appears much larger and has proven he can take a punch and we all know gatti is a warrior.....The question is this? Was Baldomir's victory over Zab Judah a fluke, was Judah looking past him to get another shot at Mayweather??? I mean it seemed 2 fights ago that Gatti was washed up....Mayweather pummelled him into hamburger meat...but thats what A fighters do to B- fighters....And now with a strange turn of events he is fighting for a belt....Don't you just love boxing???? Baldomir has not lost since 1998 and all of his losses came early in his career...He is also used to "going into the lions den" to fight.....He almost always is fighting away from home......In my estimation Gatti wins this fight on the cards.....He has more hand speed......But you never know with Gatti....His face is so full of scar tissue that if he swells up early, it will change his gameplan......I am staying away from the bet....but Gatti is ALWAYS entertaining!!

Gatti's from Jersey City, NJ, and Atlantic City is his adopted home town. Should be a terrific fight and if anyone has seen Gatti fight before you know he is a warrior.

Good Luck with the fight on whomever you bet. Seems like the odds are very low considering Gatti is such a crowd favorite in AC

they are low, but there are many many variables that make this risky......

#1 - Gatti swells tremendously and if it happens early (which it does often) he will have to change his game plan

#2 - This guy just beat zab judah who is no joke....was it a fluke???

#3 - He also has not lost in a very long time

#4 - He is larger than Gatti

#5 - This guy always fights in his opponents back yard.....and by the way.....the fans can not help you in the ring....and being pumped up and psyched by the crowd is not like football......Sure it feels good to have people behind you....but the only real advantage is with the judges....

        * I think Gatti wins, but people i talk to say it is not a given....some even have the other guy winning

i will not be playing since there are too many variables for me.....I love gatti.....I was in attendance for the 1st war with Micky Ward.....It should be entertaining as all hell.....I also hate to handicap foreign fighters.....i.e. the last fight with jeff lacy....calzighe destroyed him and i remember everyone and their brother was on lacy.....Just too hard unless i see them fight a few times...
