i do not think randy is done by a long shot....he is going to have strong outings and he will get hit around a few times also....but he will win more than he loses...and as TMAC stated he did have 11 k's......that is still pretty impressive

I don't think so...no one wins every game and no oone wins every game impressively, even against the Royals. Royals were this bad last year and they swept the Yankees...but it is only 3 games and you can't judge a team or a person on a segment of their work...imo, you base it on the whole body of work. Who cares how they won...they won! That is the bottom line....

And, if you analyze it, their much maligned startes pitched 18 scoreless innings...anyone else do that against KC this year? But everyone wants to focus on the lack of hitting. Yep...2 runs in 2 games against KC sucks but it was enough to win and that is all that matters.

Nope...got over that 3 weeks after trhe series....Yankees were the better team. Mets didn't deserve to win. Only when I root for the better team and they don't win do I carry the loss.

I believe ANY team in baseball would feel goood about winning back to back games by shutout ... PERIOD! I'm not worried about the offense because it's no different than winning 9-8 but it sure makes the pitching look good.
