  • Why do I have this funny feeling???

With 69 games left in the season, why do I feel like the New York Mets are gonna blow this 11.5 game lead and let the Braves win the division????

I am a "glass is half full" guy.
    Good Luck to everyone

    Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

I'm a Mets fan too ... just think this team has balance in the lineup, not relying on one guy like Piazza in the old days ... still think they need another starter and I'm not talking Livan either

no chance Mets blow this league. NL is pathetic. mets are the best the NL has.

Atlanta is on a hot streak right now, but it would take a monumental collapse by the Mets and or for Atlanta to continue this streak in order for them to get into the playoffs;both are extremely unlikely.

Even if the Mets played 5 under the rest of the way and finished 88-74, the Braves would have to stay as hot as they are and win 71% of their games the rest of the way. Both scenarios are unlikely.

These aren't the Mets we've become used to the last 4-5 years.

I wouldn't worry about it. The Braves might cut it to 5, but I can't see them getting any closer than that unless the injuries start getting really bad for the Mets.
