Why would someone with that much money fly commercial first of all. They have been after this guy for a long time and the Feds have made this very public. Guilty or not I would not come to the USA for anything. What would be real funny is if the got Calvin Ayre next week in Vegas at his conf. there.

I posted this story last nite. I would strongly urge anybody with an account at BetOnSports or any of the 38 sites they own to consider withdrawing most of their money.

The feds may attempt an asset seizure and even if they don't, the company may have to tap assets to get the guy out jail. I consider BOS to be terribly risky at the moment.

reason the politicians want gambling banned instead of legalized is so they can get their huge payoffs from the indians who own the majority of casinos in our country , who have unaccounted for billions of dollars to funnel to the politicians.
Look at this way
1.politicians would never ban the lotteries, to much money to the states to lose
2.they will never ban horse racing, because there are to many rich powerful people in the industry
3.that leaves the indian casinos, who would reap the rewards of an internet gambling ban. Gamblers will look for new ways to gamble and it will probably endup being casinos. Also dont think that indian casinos wont soon have sportsbooks on their property, because its coming. So in the meantime they get their politicians buddies to pass the ban, which in turn will create more business for their casinos. This is so obvious what the politicians are doing and really you would have to be blind not to see it, if you just try to look at the big picture.
Also note, if the ban is passed the indian tribal police will be given the power by our government to help enforce the ban. Please show me in our constitution where a foreign soverign nation can enforce laws on US citizens?
Okay now lets get back to why the polticians didnt just make it legal and collect the taxes.
Well that one is really simple. If they make it legal, then billions of dollars will be coming in, problem is all those billions will be going directly to our government and its citizens, completely taking the politicians completely out of the picture.
Theres no reason to payoff politicians with bribes if somethings perfectly legal. Its the same with any type of thing, if its illegal, there will be payoffs. So there is no way the politicians were going to cut off their own cash flow from the friggin indians who will completely own this country again, that you can take to the bank.
Just remember this, all these politicians have pushed for this ban under the lie of it hurts families and all that other moral crap they spit out of their lying evil mouths, yet lotteries and casinos are ruining more families and lives then any football betting bettor, yet they let those 2 forms of gambling where bettors have no chance of winning stay legal. Its a joke and if they truly were doing this for their moral reasons, they would ban all forms of gambling, but their not. These pompus lying politicians are hiding behind this moral stuff, when all the while its all about the cashhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, no,ifs, ands or buts about it. Problem is lots of people dont try to look past whats in front of them, to try and see what the politicians are really trying to do with their overall goal.
Our country needs to completely rid our government of all these religious zealous idiots who hide behind God for their actions, when truth is they are more corrupt then anybody. Problem is they got most people so brainwashed, people dont even see they are the real evil ones.

I am not at all disagreeing with your advice, but did you notice that the feds are asking BOS to return all money in accounts to US customers?

I have seen guys get busted for steroids on fitness boards in the recent past. Now the one qualification is that those guys were likely dealing.

I would guess that the only way a player on this board gets busted would be if they are bragging about six figure betting accounts and in that case, it would be an IRS issue.

I'm pretty sure Monte is sensitive to these types of issues as evidence by his disassociation with the service threads.

I believe that you're wrong. BOS has deep pockets. They spent either $20 or $25 million advertising for just last years football. I believe they may have caught him, because he's spoken out big time against the US Government regarding not banning gambling.

OR if the Feds wanted to go through the motions of showing that locals wouldn't be exempt either, they could garner information/take action against those who directly state in this forum that they take action on games;I have pointed this out in the past.
Bottom line-just say every time you post in the same way that everyone wishes everyone else good luck a zillion times a day that what are you saying regarding wagering is for "informational purposes only."
Let me start out by saying for any governmental official reading this that all of what is said here by everyone is theoretical only because no one really bets or has accounts at offshores because they do not really exist; what is said is for informational purposes now.
Now if instead you look at/take action the state funded lotteries which are REAL and which take millions of people's monies and break up families because some gamblers have no control, then you will be doing yourself and the country a big service.

I disagree with gamblers going to casinos if the internet route is banned. I enjoy sports gambling, casinos are not my favorite I live about 1 1/2 hours from atlantic city, but they dont offer sportsbetting as far as I know.
