Very nice day on Monday, with rated play winner on the Braves +117, and so far 2-0 on small personal plays - Braves over and Baltimore. The Angels +110 would complete a perfect night.
Baseball Plays (53-53, +4.67*)
Atlanta Braves +126 (Hudson/Marquis)
Since the All-Star break, the Braves have played four games, all on the road. They have scored double digits in runs all four games, and have 17, 12, 14, and 20 hits. Maybe they cool off against Jason Marquis, but I doubt it. Hudson hasn't been any good, but his numbers are better than Marquis's and frankly, as long as the Braves are less than -130, I'm playing them every day until proven wrong.
Good luck guys!
- How can a pitcher with a 6.34 ERA and 1.7 WHIP be a road favorite against a team with a similar record? Oh, when the home team is starting Russ Ortiz, who is 0-6 with a 7.88 ERA and WHIP over 2.2. Duh, I'm no expert, but shouldn't this game be a shootout, especially considering neither bullpen is above average? Let's call it a small personal play on Over 10.5 (-124).
- Sidney Ponson got cut to make room for Jeff Weaver. Now, he is -162 against a major league baseball team? Hahahaha. Small personal play on the Mariners +156 - it doesn't hurt that the Yankees have been moneyburners at home against RHP all season.
