I'm going to be honest. I made one really bad pick Saturday. Of course, I also made two correct ones, and they both suffered heartbreaking losses. I was particularly thrilled by taking a 1-run lead into the bottom of the 9th in Cincy, and giving up two runs on one hit - an infield single.

Team Total - White Sox Over 5 (-104)
Well, Jaret Wright hasn't lasted more than 6 innings all year, and he hasn't been particularly good when he is in the game. The Yankee bullpen is only average. But, the main thing is that the White Sox are the best team in baseball against RHP, and they score the most runs per game. Garcia will give some up as well, so I'm not crazy about taking the Sox +116, though I feel that is the correct side.

Adding a play:
Mets/Cubs Over 11.5 (+110)
Huge number here, but the wind is whipping out, and the Cubs hit righties pretty well, and the Mets hit lefties very well. It's also as hot as it's been all year, which is conducive to a high-scoring game.

Small personal play: Braves +136 - I know a lot of people are on the Padres here, assuming Peavy prevents them from getting swept. Well, the problem is, Chuck James has been much better than Peavy this season, and teams have had no success against him the first time through the lineup. The Braves lineup is on fire, especially at the top of the order, and this price is way too high.
