good thing about CT is that many tornadoes do not get up much power due to the hills that reduce their power...they thrive in large open and flat areas where they can pick up momentum and power....however there was a large one in windsor locks about 20 years ago.....Batten down the hatches mate!!!

Westchester County was slammed with severe thunderstorms and tornados.

The thunder is starting now on Long Island.

wow....thats a nice bunch of responses after yesterdays debacle, but yea right went it hit Greenwich and Stamford it deflated down by the time to got to us so we're safe...thanks guys
