            It was to himself.

Deflected off a lineman and he caught it.

There's only a few coaches that have won 3 or more SB.

                  Chuck Knoll
                  Bill Walsh
                  Joe Gibbs
                  Bill B

                  Joe Gibbs Washington Redskins
                  1981 Joe Theismann
                  1987 Doug Willams
                  1991 Doug Rypien

                  Gibbs also lost a SB.

Shameless promotion of my boy. Joe Gibbs is of course the correct answer.

He'll try to make it 4 this year with Mark Brunell. His toughest task yet.

Also worth noting that the other coaches who have won the Super Bowl 3 times won those Super Bowls with the same QB each time, and they are all either in the Hall now (Bradshaw and Montana) or a likely future Hall member (Brady) while none of Gibbs' QBs were Hall of Fame material.

No chance they make the SB with an aging Brunell.

Not a hall of famer but Theismann was a good QB. A much better QB than the two others.

I agree about Theismann. But my point is that he was hardly Bradshaw, Montana, or Brady.

I'm sure in 87 they said there was no way the Redskins would make the Super Bowl with Doug Williams.
