some of the guys really seem to be upset over the new offshore legislation which i wrote my viewpoints on it in one of the threads,which is legalize online sports betting and poker and tax them but with that being said honestly its no biggie to me either way because i use a local-how bout a poll to see how big a percentage of the guys go offshore,i really did not think that many people used them-sincerely chunger !!

no wayne-your missing my point-did not mean the mods were upset,just that the guys were making a big deal over this offshore legislation-just thought it would be neat if you guys did one of those polls to find out how big a percentage actually go offshore-just curious-no bigdeal either way !!

I can tell you this. A HUGE % of people here have offshore accounts. They offer too much not to have one. I would bet that at least 75% of the people here have an offshore account.

I would be pissed too if they banned it because my local doesn't offer as much AND he fucks with the numbers sometimes!

I haven't used a local in about six years and would probably quit gambling rather than go back to patronizing the mafia scum which control them if somehow I couln't bet online any more. I could never go back to the shit lines they offer and the hours in which they operate, all of which are intended to put the odds in their favor and to make it quite difficult for a player to win over time.

I don't use offshores cause I like to collect my cash no hassle involved, but they do fuck wit the odds tonite I had Howard at only +250 when every where else was like + 400 probably cause he's out of philly but that's a huge difference of $150 which sucks cause I could use that money Oh well still a winner

I use 3 offshore and one local. I only bet the local when his line is better. I too would quit betting if I couldn't bet offshore. If I can't win taking the best of 4 places, I know I could never win just using the local. They now give better lines and vig because they have to compete with offshore. If there was no competition, they'ed screw us for sure.

wayne don't you think if this passes and they make it tough to get your cash to the offshores that the big ones will have a local as a cash runner in the bigger cities,i know for a fact pinnacle already does this for very established clients-sincerely chunger !! wayne agree on locals manipulating lines but if you bet a lot of dogs in football,can be VERY SWEET with locals who get a lot of fav. action-i think you need at least 3 locals to shop lines !! when i said local as a cash runner meant local guy not bookie in first statement !!

More people put money up front in those accounts than you think. ALOT of people have trouble finding a local and even if you have one, it's almost impossible to find one that offers what someone like Pinnacle does. When you realize how much better the odds and shit are at Pinny, you find a way to put that money up front!

was not refering to myself just the majority of nuts whom bet football,80 percent of them bet more than they can afford to lose,especially on monday night games,honestly not trying to sound stupid but i did not know there were areas where locals are hard to find // going back to what i mentioned earlier,if your are on pinnacles A-LIST,they have runners in the major citys who pick up cash for them,they let these A-LIST players bet without the money up front,have personally seen this-sincerely chunger,obviously the person betting has great credentials and a voucher,probably the vouchers resposibility to cover the guy if he does not pay and i'n sure the voucher gets a percent !!

ps-honestly never bet anything but the main sports till i met you guys,the funny thing my local never bitches about the wierd stuff,he did make a smart-aleck comment that he was going to fly us to the french open to watch the finals when i bet 300 on nadal-LOL-NICE CALL SHORTY !!
