Fort Myers is a few hours from Daytona. Let me know when you are going to travel to Florida. We can meet in the Tampa area for golf. Lots of great course. Like California we can play golf year round in FL.

Wayne, awesome post.

And the guys that responded here are the reasons that I am still here and call this my home.

Doing what I do, making friends, and earning respect is VERY hard. And it's justified that it should be. But little by little this has happened, and I have made the best of friends here that I wouldn't trade for the world.

Nothing is perfect. There are ups and downs here...but for the most part, the core stay and keep making this site better.

It's funny how I have read some of the BS posts that say that all the new people never get a chance because the old posters shove them out. That's just not true. If you post, contribute, crack jokes at Dimer or Spark, or Bover...your accepted!!

I was a very lucky individual to be accepted here, and I'm glad to read that we're cracking down on the haters.

John i was about to mention this. People here always complain that their opinion should count equally no matter how many posts they have. It just doesn't work that way with "Me". This is the internet and when we don't really "Know" who another person is, all we can do is place judgement based on their "History" here. When they don't have that history, it's hard to know which place they are coming from, a positive or negative one. When someone establishes a little respect and builds a history with others here, you feel more of a comfort level listening to them. I think it's just the nature of the beast and i know when i 1st came here i didn't feel the need to place my opinion in any controversy if it wasn't a positive one.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I HATE going into a thread and reading nothing but GL's. Let's face it. It's done for one reason. POST COUNT. Personally, I'd love to see the generic GL post banned. Most threads have no substance. There's nothing wrong with wishing someone good luck. But add some substance to the board. Ask a question. Question the cappers selection. I loved when my selections were questioned. It creates discussion. When I posted my plays it was frustrating going into the thread and reading GL, GL, GL.
It's one of the reason I rarely spend any time in All Sports. IT'S BORING.

I thought you didn't cap bases? The main reason I wish people GL is so that they know that i'm paying attention and give a crap. I usually don't look at peoples plays when I wish the GL as a jinx thing. I go cap my own games then post them. Theres actually been members that don't like being asked why they like a certain play/plays.

On another note both of my mods do great jobs on this site of helping keep out the BS and contributing in too many other things to mention.

With that being said there are posters that come in here with negative shit only. Those are few and far between the good posters though. I used to let posters at other sites get to me when I first started out with my sites, but after a while I got bored with it and learned it was a waste of time. Not to mention giving them fuel to their fire. So now I don't hardly ever go to any other forum!

With that being said football is around the corner and things do start getting crazy right about then. It seems people are so pumped up with football on their minds that they get out of control, tempers fly etc. right at first then things settle down.

Chuck the guy that I have the IP # on hasn't had anything done to him, because I want him to think he's getting away with it. Then the next time he starts something I'm going to bust his ass right off this site.

I may incquire again about how to do a membership plan starting around football season so any new members not signed up would have to pay like a $10 joining fee in order to have the privelage of posting. That way bashers wouldn't want to keep coming back and paying $10 as they are too cheap. However, I have to figure out how to do it and weigh the options of it's worth doing. Could do more harm than good. Meaning someone may not want to start out paying $10 bucks to post. And I know that's cheap, but a lot of people are that way. And figuring out how to set up the forums for every registered member now so they don't have to pay was confusing.
