I like the White Sox moves

I think Robby Alomar and Carl Everett will amke them stronger and a contender to win that weak division in my eyes

The Phils will use Marlon Byrd in the leadoff spot next year and are just getting by this year. I like Abreu in that spot but he does not want to bat leadoff.

How about you telling your boss that you do not wantto do something while you are making $10 mil a year? Unreal.

White Sox helped themsleves with the Everett trade and got a little better at 2B. Alomar is just about on empty though.

the White Sox could not finich the season with Willie "chicken bones" Harris as the lead-off guy

he has trouble hitting beach balls on most nights and i hope Everett is put in the lead-off position

I agree that Alomar is on empty but if he can hit around .280 and have a couple of more walks, then the big guys like Thomas and Magglio will have more guys to drive in

The only problem i see with the phillies is that there are too many strikeouts in their lineup. they do need a lead off man who will be patient at the plate , and the only one i see whos patient is thome. who for 85 million would be the funniest lead off man in baseball history. ( just kidding)
