yankee suck lost on george's b-day gotta luv it, not so easy when a guy like soler isn't facing you now is it.
It wasn't just the pitching they left 19 men on base.
i was gonna say somethin cuz they got bounced, but im biased- im a tribe fan and not like we have a better record then them or better history but was similar to the 22-0 ass whoopin they gave them in ny 2 yrs ago.....yankees make me sick and i hope they dont even make the playoffs cuz their fans talk so much shit, the teams payroll is insane and what have they won last couple years? oh yea not the WS
edification will take place pull up the reins and get outta the race.
Lets face it-baseball is a long season, and Sox had a great run against the National League.
Sure they stumbled against TB, and might even lose tomorrow and lose the series to the White Sox.
I actually alluded to this in a post after Sunday that I had a feeling things could turn sour for a while.
Its a long season amd even good teams lose 60-70 games, and those losses come from somewhere.
In some seasons Sox owned TB, and couldn't beat the Orioles to save their lives;this year it is just the opposite.
Personally, I think White Sox are still a notch over all of the teams, and for Red Sox, no matter what happens during the next fee days with TB, the series this weekend I regard as the most telling this year;if they get swept, then well, I would conclude that my initial gut feeling is definitely right.
If Sox win one or more or lose two, and the two losses are both closely fought, then I might think definitely.
I really don't think Yanks are going to the playoffs this year-too many injuries and bad karma surrounding that team.

Yeah, that's pretty much the way I feel. I actually think there is a good chance - by that I mean about 25% - that neither the Sox nor Yankees make the playoffs. I would be very surprised if the Yankees made it and the Red Sox didn't, unless Schilling or Manny gets hurt for a long period.
