Friday MLB - No Capping Needed

What's the point of doing research??? Stats, trends, match-ups, weather, umps, etc.............

Who needs them?? The results are the same whether you do countless research or just look at the MLB schedule and pick a team that everyone thinks will win. Past couple of weeks the obvious no brainer plays have been coming through like wild fire. So let's stick to these "no capping needed" plays.

Twins -1 -115
Dodgers ML -111
White Sox ML -157
Blue Jays -1 -128

Listed pitchers must start.

I hear ya bud. Just trying something new here. Kind of like throwing darts at the schedule. Not looking at anything except taking the better starting pitcher on the better team. Let's see if these short cut plays do anything.

I agree, it sure makes betting baseball and the people making the winning picks look good when the favorites start coming in like they have been. We all know it's not that easy, just look at the 1st 3 months this year. Good luck with your picks and the rest of the season.

I just disagree with the premise, Kappa. Who would have thought the Twins would win nine out of ten or the Cardinals would lose eight in a row? or the Royals would win 7 out of 10? I still think playing dogs and small favorites (not the obvious ones) is the way to go.

I find from late June to mid August is the best time to ride the obvious FAVS and the big pitchers. Early on they are rusty and later on they are tired. Who knows?? It's still a crapshoot to me.
