How did this team win the Series last year?
David Eckstein (a leadoff hitter) is as bad a double-play liability as your average No. 3-4-5 hitter. No one is hitting except for Garrett Anderson. The bullpen is getting drilled, Percival hasn't been right all year, and none of the starters have been impressive.
Yet, the books continue to make them 2-1 favorites in certain circumstances, and I continue to take them. Why, oh why?
