I just got the email saying i was picked in the lottery for Maine Day Red Sox tickets. Yes, we have to get in a random drawing and hope. Other tickets i have bought this year have all cost me no less than $125 a seat, so it's nice to get 4 at face value for once!!!!!!!
Last year i was picked and my GF wasn't. They played the CWS last year and this years opponent is Oakland. They give good opponents at least! The pricing at Fenway right now is mind boggling. We've had to pay $100 a seat just to sit in row 40 behind the bullpens. Bleacher creatures are great but damn it's getting ridiculous. Grandstand tickets down the 3rd and 1st base line are going anywhere from $175-$300 a seat ... and it's not that comfortable a seat!
That's the one thing i miss from the 80's & 90's is walking up to the window an hour before the game and getting 2 grandstand seats for $40!
It is so ridiculously priced up here, you wouldn't even believe it!Comment
