Game 51: Ecuador +1 (+114) vs. England 1*

I just haven't been that impressed with England so far in the Cup. Wayne Rooney has been hurt throughout the Cup, and now Michael Owen is lost to an ACL tear. It will be tough for the Brits to score more than 1 or 2 goals. I wouldn't be surprised to see this game go to extra time or even see Ecuador win.


Game 52: Portugal TO ADVANCE (+127) vs. Netherlands 2**

This bet is for Portugal to advance to the quarterfinals, whether it be in regulation time, overtime, or via penalty kicks. I think the wrong team is favored in this game. Portugal went 3-0-0 in group play and have a loaded side coached by "Big Phil" who lead Brazil to the 2002 World Cup title. I'll take my chances with the +127 on the side I feel is stronger.
