The weather channel is reporting winds from 10 to 15 out of the Southeast....Which way does the field face?
I guess if it's still Southeast that would mean Right Center. If we get it blowing South with the dimensions there than it looks like a PERFECT setup for a lefty and Ortiz and Teixeira would be my choices.

I really think Teixeira will crack under the pressure, I mean he's supposedly representing the U.S., that's a lot of pressure. I think the crowd will be rooting for him, and he'll hit like one.
C'mon do you really think they feel like they need to do this for their Country??? I bet they laughed about it and that was it!
No I don't, but I think the fans will act like it is, and they'll root for him. It's in Detroit, so I Rod will get his share of cheers, but really people that go to the All Star game are from all over, and they'll be rooting for the US and Teixiera.
Ortiz only hit 3 HR's in last years derby and didn't make it out of the first round. Comerica sets up well for him though as it's only 330 down the right field line. I'll take him out of the running because of his size. Not sure he can hang for all the rounds. A. Jones bats right and likes to pull the ball towards left/left center. Don't like his chances. Hometown fav Pudge will have crowd behind him but he has not played well so far TY and plays w/jammed left pinkie. C. Lee has had success at Comerica Park. 6 HR's, 26 RBI's and a career .388 hitter in 41 games here. These are the 4 I liked and by process of elimination, I'll play on C. Lee to win the Derby at 13/4 (bodog). Any thoughts? GL.
